Heather got her start in 1999 as a storyboard revisionist on SpongeBob Squarepants at Nickelodeon Animation Studio in Burbank, California. She went on to become a storyboard artist on shows such as The Fairly Oddparents, T.U.F.F. Puppy, and My Life As a Teenage Robot, for which she received an Emmy Nomination as a writer in 2006. From 2005 to 2007, she directed the Disney animated series, The Replacements, created by Dan Santat.
Heather has had over 30 books published through Random House Children's Division, Walter Foster, Publications International, Simon & Schuster's Simon Spotlight and others. These books feature well-known characters from Disney and Nickelodeon, such as SpongeBob Squarepants, Doc McStuffins, Blaze and the Monster Machines, Elena of Avalor, Star Wars and more!
Her most current work has been on Nickelodeon's all-new "The Patrick Star Show" and "Kamp Koral." Look for her most recent Little Golden book entitled, "Happy Birthday, SpongeBob!"
Heather lives in Southwest Missouri with her husband, two children and pampered flock of
chickens. In addition to the artsy things listed above, she is a teacher and a homeschool mom.
Heather is a product of the grace lavished upon her by Jesus Christ.
